Life With Tools

Primarily I trained in restoration, I have over 20 years of workshop experience in cabinet making and both traditional and modern techniques.

I qualified at Rycottewood in Oxford, England before working in London for both public and private clients. In 2010 I moved with my family to the Auvergne region of France, where I ran my own workshop for 16 years.

I am proficient in all aspects of furniture making and restoration, including traditional finishing, veneering, marquetry, Boule work, laquer, leather work, and paint finishing. As well as building restoration and historic monuments.
